Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answers telephones for school, directs calls, and provides information for office visitors as needed;
- Maintains confidential files for principal and administration;
- Complies with school system, state and federal regulations and policies related to all areas of responsibility;
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information and materials;
- Maintains files, records, and materials and equipment necessary as it relates to essential job responsibilities;
- Prepares and processes purchase and work orders as needed to support the operations of the school as directed by the principal;
- Collects and generates data reports as requested;
- Composes and manages correspondence regarding support and details from and to administration and operation of the school;
- Coordinates events for school as directed by the principal;
- Maintains school level calendar to include school facility events;
- Helps with directing and orienting substitute teachers as specified by the principal;
- Serves as a liaison for school administration, staff, students, parents and other system schools, Central office personnel, and community;
- Maintains student information database;
- Provides support to system users;
- Maintains accurate and complete information through Infinite Campus student information system;
- Reports attendance, report cards, interim progress reports, discipline, registration, and withdrawal of students;
- Maintains student transcripts, immunization data, test data, schedules, honor roll, and forecasting for state and federal reports;
- Maintains student data in a timely manner for purpose of submitting required reports to the Georgia DOE, including special education, remedial, ELL, and gifted;
- Assists in design, troubleshooting, analyzing and publishing database reports and providing data to users;
- Prepares data for accurate and clean rollover at the end of the school year;
- Prints forms for attendance and report card verification as needed;
- Monitors and troubleshoots attendance system for daily accuracy and provides technical assistance to users as needed;
- Completes the master schedule to specifications and updates student schedules as directed to provide administration and staff with class load information and class list;
- Develops and meets established deadlines for grade reporting, including class lists, scan sheets, report cards, grade verification reports and any additional reports needed by staff to support the monitoring of student academic performance.
- Other duties as assigned by the Principal, Supervisor or Superintendent.

- Operates standard office equipment including use of basic computer applications and peripherals;
- Minimum of three years data entry experience;
- High school diploma or HSE - Two year degree in Business Management/Information Systems or related fields preferred
