Appointment Type: Temporary Exempt (what does this mean?)

Length of Appointment: TEX not to exceed six (6) months and shall serve at the discretion of the appointing officer.

• Assists in the preparation and serving of meals and washing dishes

• Prepares and serves meals according to the menu; sanitizes tables before serving

• Sweeps and mops playrooms, hallways, offices, lavatories and other areas daily; dusts furniture; empties

wastepaper baskets

• Sets up and stacks cots; changes linen

• Washes toilets daily; washes tables, stoves, refrigerators and sinks in kitchen; washes and waxes floors

• Related duties as required

The strongest candidates will:

● Have knowledge of San Francisco’s public schools/urban public schools and a passionate belief in SFUSD’s

commitment to instructional leadership as a lever toward delivering on the SFUSD Graduate Profile

● Perform repetitive manual cleaning tasks without continuous supervision

● Follow oral and written instructions

Minimum Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience in general cleaning and housekeeping duties

• Possession of a California Food Handler Card is required by the date of hire
