Summary
The Buckhorn School is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a High School Archery Coach for the upcoming season. This seasonal position involves coaching and mentoring student-athletes in the sport of archery, fostering their skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in archery, a commitment to student development, and the ability to create a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training programs that enhance the skills and performance of student-athletes.
- Conduct regular practices and ensure that all sessions are engaging, safe, and productive.
- Teach proper archery techniques, safety protocols, and equipment handling to students.
- Organize and supervise team practices, competitions, and events, ensuring compliance with school and league regulations.
- Monitor and evaluate student-athlete performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes respect, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration regarding team activities and student progress.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to promote the archery program and enhance overall athletic offerings at the school.
- Maintain inventory of archery equipment and ensure all gear is in safe working condition.
- Attend coaching clinics or workshops to stay current with best practices in coaching and archery.

Requirements
- Previous coaching experience in archery or a related sport is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of archery techniques, safety practices, and competition rules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes to reach their full potential.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus.
- Must be available for after-school practices and competitions, as well as any scheduled team events.
- A background check will be required prior to employment.
