Supervisor: Principal / Assistant Principal
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Work Schedule:
Shift is 3 - 3.25 hours per day; part-time/non-benefit. 174 days per school year (all student attendance days on the approved school calendar)
Hours vary by school location but on average are 10 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Grade Levels: K-2 & 3-5
Assignments Available: 1-Liberty (5 days/wk), 2-Meadow Ridge (5 days/wk & 3 days/wk).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervises and assists students in the lunchroom.
Supervises and assists students on the playground.
Assists with cleaning the lunchroom.
Assists with distribution of lunches.
Will be considered a mandated reporter for abuse and neglect (DCFS).
Be engaging, reliable, and kind.
De-escalate conflict or an angry student situation.
Employ medical and safety precautions/responses.
May be asked to assist the school staff with light clerical duties as assigned by the principal, such as copying, organizing, laminating instructional materials, processing mail.
May be asked to assist in the media center with non-clerical tasks, e.g. shelving books, straightening materials.
Other tasks as assigned by the principal.
Uses Red Rover Absent Management System to submit absences and to request substitutes for vacancies
Complete annual GCN compliance training
