Requirements:
Master’s Degree or alternative pathway to school counseling credentials OR a School Guidance 
Counselor License issued by the Michigan Department of Education
Any of the following:
Michigan Teaching Certificate with the School Counselor (NT) endorsement Temporary School Counselor 
License (TSCL)
Preliminary School Counselor License (PSCL) School Counselor License (SCL)


Qualifications:
Ability to work cooperatively with multi-disciplinary teams in situations requiring a high degree 
of flexibility, creativity, and initiative. Secondary (middle and high school) experience. Demonstrated understanding and appreciation of 
diversity. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary/Benefits:
Commensurate with credentials and level of experience and in accordance with MPS salary schedule. 
Full- time with benefit package.
