DESCRIPTION: The Elementary/Intermediate (K-6) and Secondary (7-12) Induction Teachers will support MTSD’s induction program by collaborating with the induction team in fulfilling the following tasks:

Assisting with the mentoring of new teachers and staff going through the induction program

Assisting with being a buddy to new teachers and staff

Leading new teacher and staff PLCs in buildings

Helping to lead new teacher & staff week

Providing support to new teachers and staff when needed

Co-facilitating monthly induction meetings

As part of the induction program, providing classroom observations for new teachers and staff

Collaborating with building principals to provide training and conversations around induction topics with new teachers and staff

Confirming new teacher induction paperwork requirements

DATES: 3-year assignment starting in the 25/26 SY

CURRENT STIPEND: $2,627 annually
