POSITION: FRESHMAN FOOTBALL COACH - LINCOLN HIGH SCHOOL

SUMMARY

Position is responsible for coaching student athletes in game strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition. Position motivates student athletes to develop an appreciation of the sport.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Possess a high school diploma
Knowledge of the sport
Ability to prepare students to participate in the sport in a competitive and sportsmanlike way.
Consistently promotes fairness, respect, and multiple perspectives in all responsibilities
Experience as a head coach or assistant coach.
Relate to young people in a positive manner.
Meet requirements for public school employment.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision and the ability to adjust focus. The ability to travel to other buildings is required. The position requires the individual to sometimes work irregular or extended work hours and meet multiple demands from several people.
