Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Robotics teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will engage and inspire students through hands on, project-based learning experiences that introduce core concepts in robotics, engineering, and problem solving, utilizing the VEX robotics platform. The candidate will guide students in designing, building, programming, and testing robotic systems while encouraging creativity, collaboration, and perseverance through iterative design processes. This teacher will foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where students of all experience levels feel empowered to take risks, troubleshoot challenges, and learn from failure. The ideal candidate will balance direct instruction with student driven projects to help learners develop technical skills, critical thinking, and teamwork. In addition, this teacher will coordinate and support student teams participating in the VEX IQ Robotics Competition, including preparing teams for events, managing logistics, and promoting positive sportsmanship and collaboration. This candidate will also collaborate effectively with colleagues to align curriculum, share best practices, and ensure meaningful assessment of student learning in a project-based setting.

● Ministers and prays with others; communicates the love of Jesus to further the mission of the School. Attend, participate, and lead faculty devotions and Chapel on a rotating basis

● Approachable, with an appropriate balance of high expectations, patience, and mentorship

● A team-player who is willing to listen to the ideas, concerns, and solutions of others

● Knowledgeable and competent in areas of safe school culture necessary to support school’s mission
