Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time High School Esports Teacher to join our faculty. This position involves teaching two sections of Esports, while fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment. The ideal candidate will integrate faith into their instruction, inspire critical thinking and equip students with problem-solving for academic and real-world success.

Essential Characteristics

● Active Christian and local church member

● Demonstrates a heart for Jesus Christ: “I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.” I Corinthians 2:2

● Demonstrates personal character: “In everything, set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech…” Titus 2:7-8

● Demonstrates passion for excellence worthy of Christ: Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord…” Colossians 3:23

● Exemplifies a Christ-like attitude in both written and verbal communication

● Ministers and prays with others; communicates the love of Jesus to further the mission of the School. Attend, participate, and lead faculty devotions and Chapel on a rotating basis

● Approachable, with an appropriate balance of high expectations, patience, and mentorship

● A team-player who is willing to listen to the ideas, concerns, and solutions of others

● Knowledgeable and competent in areas of safe school culture necessary to support school’s mission
