The Mail Clerk/Shield Warehouse Assistant

Ministry Description

Position Overview

This position is responsible for accepting, sorting, staging and distributing all mail, packages, and deliveries that are received daily at Faith Lutheran. The Mail Clerk will maintain a clean and efficient work space to allow for easy and accurate distribution of daily receipts. The Warehouse Assistant position will provide support in The Shield store warehouse.

Essential Characteristics

● Active Christian and local church member

● Demonstrates a heart for Jesus Christ: “I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.” I Corinthians 2:2

● Demonstrates personal character: “In everything, set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech…” Titus 2:7-8

● Demonstrates passion for excellence worthy of Christ: Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord…” Colossians 3:23

● Exemplifies a Christ-like attitude in both written and verbal communication

● Approachable, with an appropriate balance of high expectations, patience, and mentorship

● A team-player who is willing to listen to the ideas, concerns, and solutions of others

● Knowledgeable and competent in areas of safe school culture necessary to support school’s mission
