Center Point ISD is currently accepting applications for a Business Services Clerk.

Primary Purpose:

The district is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Business Services Clerk to join our administrative team. This position plays a vital role in supporting the financial and operational functions of the district’s business office. The successful candidate should be able perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks related to bookkeeping, accounts payable, purchasing, payroll, and human resources. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to cross-train and perform the following functions as necessary:

Process and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable invoices, purchase orders, and travel expense reports
Process payroll and employee benefits documentation
Maintain employee leave records and weekly time clock reports
Perform human resource functions including receiving and processing job applications, maintaining employee personnel files and other related duties
Answer phones and respond to inquiries related to business office operations
Other duties as assigned by the Business Manager or Superintendent

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field (preferred; years of experience in a related field may substitute)
Strong computer skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information is a must

Salary/Pay Grade will be based on experience and qualifications.
