Summary
Childress Junior High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team as a full-time Teacher and Head Baseball Coach. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a positive learning environment while promoting athletic excellence. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
- Provide instruction in various subjects, ensuring students meet academic goals and learning objectives.
- Assess and evaluate student performance, providing feedback and support to help them improve.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
- Serve as the Head Baseball Coach, responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting baseball practices and games.
- Develop training programs to enhance players' skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Collaborate with other coaches and school staff to promote a well-rounded athletic program.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration regarding academic and athletic progress.
- Organize and oversee team events, including games, tournaments, and fundraising activities.
- Uphold school policies and regulations, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all students.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification for the appropriate grade level and subject area.

- Valid Texas CDL with (S) and (P) endorsements
- Proven experience coaching baseball at the middle school or high school level.
- Strong knowledge of baseball techniques, strategies, and rules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students both academically and athletically.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school culture.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
