Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team for the Seasonal Play Unified Bowling program at Chatham High School. This program aims to promote inclusion and teamwork through the sport of bowling, providing a supportive environment for athletes of all abilities. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in facilitating practices, competitions, and fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere for all participants. This program is 8 weeks from 10am-11am on Sunday morning and meets at Hanover Lanes.

Responsibilities

Organize and lead bowling practices, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all athletes.
Assist in the development and implementation of training programs tailored to the needs of participants.
Coordinate and supervise competitions, ensuring adherence to rules and promoting sportsmanship.
Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging teamwork and collaboration among all participants.
Communicate effectively with athletes, coaches, and parents regarding schedules, expectations, and program updates.
Monitor and assess the progress of athletes, providing feedback and support to help them improve their skills.
Maintain equipment and facilities, ensuring they are safe and ready for use at all times.
Attend mandatory training sessions and staff meetings as required.

Requirements

NJ Teaching Credential OR NJ Substitute Credential
Passion for sports and a commitment to promoting inclusion and teamwork.
Previous experience working with youth or in coaching roles is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire participants.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during the bowling season.
Knowledge of bowling techniques and rules is a plus, but not required.
Must be able to pass a background check and adhere to all safety protocols.
First Aid/CPR certification is a plus, but training can be provided.
A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of individuals.

Salary: $1,000.00
