Summary:
Our school is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Leave Replacement Health/Physical Education teacher to join our team for the 25-26 school year. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching Health/Physical Education classes to middle school students. This is a full-time position located at Chatham High School.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the state standards and school curriculum.
Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.
Teach Health/Physical Education classes to high school students.
Monitor and assess student progress on a regular basis and provide feedback to students and parents.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs.
Participate in faculty and department meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Health/Physical Education or a related field.
Teaching certification in Health/Physical Education.
Experience teaching Health/Physical Education to high school students.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Knowledge of state standards and curriculum frameworks.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs.
Commitment to professional development and ongoing learning.
