Clinton County RESA is the fiscal agent for Alt+Shift. The employee in this position will:

Partner with Intermediate School Districts (ISDs) to strengthen their capacity to sustain implementation efforts of evidence-based practices at local education agencies (LEAs) and ISD programs, yielding improved outcomes for all students. Provide training, consultation, and technical assistance related to implementation of AT and AAC for students with a range of disabilities in a variety of settings including general education classrooms, resource rooms, self-contained classrooms, center-based programs, and remote and digital environments. This support is primarily related to the following Alt+Shift professional learning opportunities: AT Journey, Building Blocks to Autonomous Communication, and Comprehensive Literacy for Autonomous Communication.
Provide statewide leadership in assistive technology and AAC including through collaboration with other organizations, leading change eﬀorts, and contributing to other statewide eﬀorts.
Look for opportunities to make connections to other initiatives and work that strengthen the effort including but not limited to curriculum/instruction, accessible materials, school/family partnerships, etc.
Implement and evolve existing Alt+Shift AT and AAC work by deepening fluency regarding current efforts, gaining experience implementing practices and leading the work, and taking initiative, in consultation with the Director and/or Coordinator to improve and adapt the work for greater impact on learners and educational systems.
