Notice is hereby given that Harper Creek Community School District, Battle Creek, Michigan is currently searching for an Accounting Specialist. Guided by district policy and the Superintendent, or designee, the Accounting Specialist’s primary responsibility is to process accounts payable/receivable/purchasing. The Accounting Specialist will assist the Finance Director in all aspects of managing the accounting and financial reporting functions for the district while exemplifying a high standard of customer service and confidentiality.

This position is full-time, year-round. Annual Starting Salary $52540. A Fringe Benefit package is available that includes health/dental/vision insurance, paid vacation/sick/personal days, and professional development opportunities.

Applicants must have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Accounting/Business with 3 years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping. School accounting experience is preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
