10 MONTH EMPLOYEE; 5.75 HOURS PER DAY (M-F)


Description:

Brandywine Community Schools is seeking an energetic and self-motivated employee to provide support to students with limited English skills at the direction of certified staff.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • Demonstrated ability to use basic office and audiovisual equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing is required
  • Demonstrated ability to work with students at varying age/developmental levels
  • Bilingual - English and Spanish Preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working with K-12th grade students in an academic setting
  • Assist with classroom management
  • Mentoring English Learners
  • Provide instructional support services in large and/or small group settings under the direct supervision of certified teaching staff
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Reliable with excellent attendance records
