Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to lead our volleyball program as the Head Volleyball Coach. This full-time position is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive training program for student-athletes, promoting academic success, and fostering a positive team culture. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the sport, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to the overall development of student-athletes.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute practice plans, game strategies, and training programs to enhance player skills and team performance.
- Recruit, evaluate, and retain talented student-athletes while ensuring compliance with all institutional and NCAA regulations.
- Foster a positive team environment that promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth.
- Collaborate with athletic staff and administration to promote the volleyball program and enhance its visibility within the community.
- Monitor and support student-athletes' academic progress, ensuring they meet eligibility requirements.
- Organize and conduct team meetings, individual player evaluations, and skill development sessions.
- Manage game-day operations, including preparation, strategy implementation, and post-game analysis.
- Communicate effectively with parents, alumni, and supporters to build relationships and promote the program.
- Stay current with developments in the sport and implement best practices in coaching and player development.
- Oversee the maintenance and organization of equipment and facilities used by the volleyball program.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Proven experience as a head coach or assistant coach at the high school or collegiate level.
- Strong knowledge of volleyball techniques, strategies, and rules.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes to achieve their best both on and off the court.
- Demonstrated commitment to academic success and student-athlete welfare.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in using technology for training, game analysis, and communication.
- First Aid/CPR certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel for competitions and recruiting.

- Salaries and stipends are determined individually with consideration for job-related experience and credentials.
