TEST PROCTOR- PART-TIME
ADULT LEARNING CENTER
4-DAYS A WEEK/19-HOURS, 36-WEEKS
$30.00 PER HOUR

Job Summary:

The Adult Education Test Proctor is responsible for administering and overseeing standardized testing for adult learners in a secure, fair, and professional environment. This role ensures compliance with testing protocols and provides support to examinees throughout the testing process.

Key Responsibilities:

· Test Administration:

o Set up and prepare testing rooms according to specific exam requirements.

o Verify examinee identification and ensure proper check-in procedures.

o Distribute, collect, and secure test materials before and after testing.

o Monitor examinees during testing to prevent cheating or misconduct.

· Compliance and Security:

o Enforce all testing rules and regulations as outlined by the testing agency.

o Maintain confidentiality and security of all testing materials and records.

o Report any irregularities or violations of testing procedures.

· Technical and Logistical Support:

o Operate and troubleshoot testing software and hardware as needed.

o Assist examinees with technical issues in a calm and professional manner.

o Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and test results.

· Customer Service:

o Provide clear instructions and guidance to examinees.

o Respond to questions and concerns in a respectful and supportive manner.

o Create a welcoming and stress-reducing environment for adult learners.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).

· Prior experience in education, testing, or customer service is a plus.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations discreetly.

· Proficiency with computers and basic troubleshooting skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
