32.5 HOURS PER WEEK
SALARY RANGE: $50,795.00 (STEP 1) TO $64,193.00 (STEP 6)
Current members of AFSCME LOCAL 1522 will be given first opportunity to fill the position.
General Statement of Duties:
This is a varied and complex, responsible office clerical and technical work position performing a wide range of office procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Extensive computer work.
- Preparation of correspondence as required.
- Performs clerical work involving complex procedures requiring the exercise of good judgment and decision making within the limits of standard procedures and general instruction.
- Maintain records and files of a complex nature requiring technical knowledge of department operations.
- Operates a wide variety of standard office equipment.
- Performs related work as required.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma.
- Previous experience in a clerical position.
- Excellent skills in the use of EXCEL and WORD.
- Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team.
- Ability to multitask.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Bilingual Preferred.
