Bethany High School is seeking a passionate and innovative educator to join our faculty as a full-time Business Education instructor specializing in ESports, Sports Marketing, and Computer Science. The ideal candidate will inspire students to explore the intersection of business and technology, equipping them with essential skills for success in today’s digital economy. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum and lesson plans focused on ESports, Sports Marketing, and Computer Science, aligned with state educational standards.
- Teach courses that cover topics such as game design, marketing strategies, digital media, and entrepreneurship in the context of sports and gaming.
- Facilitate hands-on learning experiences, including projects, simulations, and competitions to enhance student understanding and application of concepts.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate technology and innovative teaching methods across the curriculum.
- Mentor and advise students in extracurricular activities related to ESports and sports marketing, including coaching teams and organizing events.
- Assess student performance through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology, ensuring that course content remains relevant and engaging.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and subject matter expertise.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Education, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Teaching certification in Business Education or a relevant area, with a preference for additional qualifications in ESports and Sports Marketing.
- Experience in teaching high school students, particularly in business education or related subjects.
- Strong knowledge of ESports industry dynamics, sports marketing principles, and computer science fundamentals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Proficiency in using technology and educational software to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and the community to promote the school’s mission and vision.
