Qualifications:

· Successful track & field coaching experience preferred

· Knowledge and ability to teach track & field techniques and strategies

· Proven ability to enhance skill development in athletes

· Must possess the ability to represent the Wayland Union District in a positive manner and implement MHSAA rules and policies of the Wayland Union Board of Education

· Must possess knowledge of basic first aid

Responsibilities & Duties:

· Coach the team for competition, by supporting technique and promoting team building

· Represent the Wayland Union District in a positive and professional manner when dealing with opponents, officials, players, parents and spectators

· Monitor athlete academics

· Organize, motivate, and supervise athletes

· Communicate effectively with parents, staff and students

Terms of Employment:
WUEA Schedule B position, seasonal position only.
Will be employed through EduStaff unless current WUEA member.
Contingent upon passing post offer background checks.
