Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technology Integration and Support Specialist to join our team at Sublette County School District #9. This full-time position is responsible for providing technical support, facilitating the integration of technology into our programs, and ensuring that all technological resources are effectively utilized to advance education in the district. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology and excellent problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will embody high ethical standards and integrity while providing effective customer service. The Specialist will stay current with workplace innovations that enhance productivity while partnering with supervisors and teachers to support best practices in the use of technology to meet school/district goals.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to staff and students in the use of technology.
- Assist in the integration of new technologies into the curriculum and ensure alignment with educational goals.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for faculty on the effective use of technology.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize disruption.
- Collaborate with IT staff to maintain and upgrade technology systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to technology usage, best practices, and troubleshooting guides.
- Stay current with emerging technologies to recommend improvements and maintain cybersecurity.
- Support the setup and operation of audio-visual equipment for events, performances, and presentations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative environment by providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to strategic planning for technology initiatives.

- Efficient record keeping; inventory, maintenance, tracking lifecycles, trainings, renewal dates, important contacts, etc.

Requirements

- Experience in providing excellent technology support is preferred.

- High school diploma. Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups.

- Able to help end users resolve a variety of technical issues.

- Energetic self-starter.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Able to conceptualize, evaluate, prioritize, and solve complex problems independently.
- Familiarity with various learning management systems and digital collaboration tools.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong knowledge about hardware, software, and audio-visual equipment.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
