Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to coach the 7th Grade Boys Basketball team at our Middle School. This seasonal position requires a passion for sports and a commitment to fostering a positive and supportive environment for young athletes. The coach will be responsible for developing players' skills, promoting teamwork, and instilling a love for the game of basketball.

Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct daily practices that focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Develop game strategies and prepare the team for competitions.
- Organize and manage all aspects of the basketball season, including scheduling games and practices.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration regarding team progress and expectations.
- Monitor and promote the academic and personal growth of players.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all players during practices and games.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages participation and effort.
- Evaluate player performance and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Attend all games and practices throughout the season.

Requirements
- Previous coaching experience, particularly in basketball, is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of basketball rules, strategies, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
- Commitment to promoting a positive and respectful team environment.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Must pass a background check as required by school policies.
- Availability for evening and weekend practices and games during the season.
