We are looking for a dynamic and passionate leader to serve as our Head Administrator & Instructional Leader for our Virtual Learning Center! The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in building relationships with students and their families. Key Responsibilities:

Manage students in pursuit of online learning via the Apex Digital curriculum and learning management system.
Supervise staff assigned to the program tasked with ensuring routine interactions and interventions are being provided to students.
Provide oversight for the Adult Education program.
Coordinate with Central Office Administration to ensure appropriate use of grant monies are being managed in pursuit of increased student proficiency, graduation rates, and delivery of adult education.
Lead and oversee school operations, serving as the head administrator and instructional leader.
Promote and implement the district’s mission, vision, and philosophy while fostering strong relationships with the community.
Ensure high-quality instruction by providing staff with observation cycles, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
Support and lead staff in instructional frameworks, PBIS restorative practices, and trauma-informed care.
Utilize data analysis and innovative strategies to improve school operations and student learning.
Oversee staff selection, onboarding, and performance evaluations to ensure excellence in teaching and support.
Administer the instructional program, monitor state academic standards, and facilitate curriculum alignment.
Manage scheduling, enrollment, and testing processes, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Maintain a safe and positive school environment by upholding student conduct expectations and implementing interventions.
Oversee budget administration, approve resource allocations, and pursue funding opportunities.
Encourage parent and community engagement through school-sponsored activities and partnerships.

Qualifications:

Experience in educational leadership with a strong understanding of instructional frameworks and student support strategies.
Must possess or be able to obtain Michigan School Administrator Certification
Knowledge of PBIS restorative practices, trauma-informed care, and curriculum development.
Strong skills in budgeting, staff development, program evaluation, and community engagement.
Ability to analyze data, implement school-wide improvements, and foster a safe, inclusive learning environment.
Familiarity with state and federal education laws, student assessment practices, and special education policies.
