Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Qualifications: Must have a degree OR 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university OR have taken or will take and pass the ETS Parapro test before being hired.

Job Functions:

  • Takes guidance from the classroom teacher, special education teacher, social worker, and principal
  • Provide positive redirection and encouragement to engage in the classroom structures
  • Model, foster, and encourage positive engagement between student and classroom peers
  • Communicate with all stakeholders, including parent as directed
  • Assist in the carryover and independent utilization of ABA strategies being taught
  • Works closely with a student who have disabilities and/or are at-risk, which may include but is not limited to medical needs, academic needs, or behavior needs
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training is mandatory for employment
  • Assist in the development of PBIS support structures
  • Other medical, academic, and behavior support duties as assigned
  • Assist in the development of PBIS support structures
  • Punctual, regular, & consistent attendance is required

  • Work completion support
  • Compliance both academically and behaviorally
