Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Pathologist to join our team with Orange County Public Schools. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with students, teachers, and parents to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the communication skills and overall academic success of our students.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support students' communication needs.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide training and resources to teachers and staff on strategies to support students with communication challenges.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student assessments and therapy sessions.
- Advocate for students' needs within the school community.

Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with children in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
