Bus Driver

Position: Bus Driver
Reports to: Director of Transportation

Qualifications:
1. Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
2. Attained the age of 21 years’ old
3. Must maintain a commercial driver’s license (CDL), chauffeurs license
4. Possess a good driving record and a valid driver’s license
5. Must pass a pre-employment drug test and a background investigation
6. Meet the state physical examination requirements
7. Must be flexible and self-directed in a variety of situations
8. Must demonstrate patience and compassion for students
9. Demonstrate ability to work with others in a positive, productive way
10. Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, parents, and the community
while projecting a positive image that enhances the school district
11. Demonstrate the ability to keep confidentiality in regards to the Family Privacy Act
