Highland Middle School is looking for a Learning Center Clerk for the 2025-2026 school year. This is full-time position, 7.5 hours per day, with 7 hours paid and a 30 minute unpaid lunch. The position includes individual medical and dental insurance, 2 personal days, 12 sick days, $20,000 life insurance, and a $550 457 account contribution annually. The salary is $16.70/hour.

Qualifications:

Must possess current and valid ISBE licensure with a PEL, SUB or ELS-(PARA) Paraeducator, and be registered in Lake County.
Proficiency in typing, office computer programs including word processing, spreadsheet, and data base. Working knowledge of basic office procedures and the operation of such office machinery as computers, printers, calculators, copiers, fax machines and multifunction telephones. Interest in working with children and teachers. Must have knowledge, or interest in acquiring knowledge, of children’s books

Purpose: To assist in the daily operation and organization of the school library media program.
