Libertyville School District 70 is seeking a School Psychologist for the 2025-2026 school year.  Benefits include:  2 Personal and 12 Sick days; $2,150 Tuition Reimbursement; Life, Medical and Dental Insurance; annual $550 457 Contribution; and $375 Workshop/Conference Allotment.  The salary is based on the placement on the Salary Schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must hold an active and valid ISBE PEL with an endorsement for School Psychologist, and be registered in Lake County.
  • Student teaching, internship, or current experience in this area

Purpose:      To advocate for students through problem-solving and development of systems, programs, and services that maximize students’ current and future social, emotional, and educational progress.  To help students resolve such personal, emotional, and social problems as interfere with their adjustment to school and their capacity to enjoy the fullest benefits of the education offered them.  The school psychologist/educational specialist is a change agent who collaborates with individuals, families, schools, and communities to promote effective educational environments.
