Primary Purpose:

Provides coaching and support to classroom teachers in effectively implementing High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM) to enhance student learning outcomes. This role involves providing professional development coaching and guidance to teachers to ensure the integration of HQIM into instructional practices with confidence. The instructional coach collaborates with school leaders and educators to promote best teaching strategies, facilitate curriculum alignment, and foster continuous improvement in educational effectiveness Provide modeling of proven research-based teaching strategies.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

Master’s degree from accredited university

Valid Texas teaching certificate

Administrative certification preferred

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledge of curriculum design and implementation

Ability to interpret data and evaluate instruction programs and teaching effectiveness

Ability to develop and deliver training to adult learners

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Advanced knowledge of Eduphoria as a testing and data analysis tool

Knowledge of NWEA Maps

Knowledge of Educational Materials and Technology (EMAT)

Experience:

5 years teaching experience in a core content area

3 years of instructional coach experience
