Position Summary:

The Ridgway Area School District is seeking a dynamic, compassionate, and visionary educational leader to serve as Superintendent of Schools. · Ability to assess areas of district improvement in support service areas and oversee major district initiatives – both educationally and operationally.

· Understand the unique needs and strengths of rural communities

Qualifications:

· Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or related field (Doctorate preferred) or a Graduate Degree from an accredited university in Business, Finance or Management with at least 4 years of relevant experience in business, finance, or management

· Pennsylvania Superintendent Letter of Eligibility (or ability to obtain)

· Minimum of 5 years of successful administrative experience

Salary and Benefits:

Salary and benefits will be regionally competitive based on education, training, experience, qualifications and meeting board criteria, including but not limited to, the skills listed above.
