Requires teaching certificate or bachelor's degree (substitute teacher)/high school diploma (aide). Updated rates: $135/day for substitute teachers and $75/day for substitute paraeducators/aides - plus mileage.

Individuals holding the following qualifications may now serve as substitute teachers:

Bachelor’s degree
60 college credits and 25 years old or older
Student currently enrolled in a teacher program and has 60 completed credits
Retired teacher

Individuals holding a high school diploma or GED may serve as classroom paraeducators/aides.

New clearances upon hire and Pre-employment drug testing will be required for successful employment.
