NOTICE OF EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

The Elma School District is accepting applications for the following classified position:

Middle School

 Lunchroom Para Supervision

Posted: 11/20/2024 to 11/27/2024

·         Position will remain open until filled

Assignment: 2.5 hrs. Per day, 5 days a week.

EESP Salary Schedule Rate Range:

·         $24.38 - $28.00

Benefits Include:

·         I-1433 Sick Leave, the employee will accrue at least one (1) hour of paid sick leave for every forty (40) hours worked.

Required Qualification:

·         High school diploma or GED

·         WSP/FBI fingerprint background clearance (fee paid by the employee)

Desired Qualifications:

·         Previous experience working with children in a school or other setting preferred

·         Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents

·         Strong organizational and time-management skills

Responsibilities:

·         Supervise students during lunchtime and ensure a safe and orderly environment

·         Monitor student behavior and intervene when necessary to maintain order and discipline

·         Communicate with school administrators and staff regarding any issues or concerns related to the lunchroom

·         Attend training sessions and meetings as required
