Little Elks Child Development Center is seeking to hire a full time staff member. Previous child care experience is preferred. Love of young children is required. Little Elks CDC provides an environment that allows children to grow and develop in a nurturing and positive atmosphere.

Candidates must:

· Be able to pass OSBI & FBI background checks.

· Be 18 or older.

· Provide proof of education, high school diploma, GED or higher education.

· Have a good work ethic and be a team player.

· Obtain CPR and First Aid training.

· Complete OKDHS required training and orientation within the allotted time.

Job description:

Child care teachers and co-teachers are responsible for the day to day operations of the classroom they have been assigned. Teachers plan daily lessons and activities that are fun as well as educational. Daily communication with each child’s parent is essential. The children’s health and safety are the first priority. Staff must maintain classroom ratio at all times. A career in child care is multifaceted; the ability to multi-task is a must.
