DESCRIPTION

Dansville Schools is seeking a middle school assistant track coach who is responsible for assisting the head coach with teaching basic track and field skills and working with our varsity coach to build/maintain a program. The assistant coach will support student achievement and help each participating student achieve a high level of skill, an appreciation for the values of discipline, sportsmanship, teamwork, work ethic, and an increased level of self-esteem. The desired candidate also understands the positive effects athletics has on the education of student-athletes.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school graduate, post-secondary training preferred
Experience participating in and/or teaching track and field skills
CPR/AED/First Aid certification preferred
Ability to lead, mentor and motivate student athletes
Strong communication skills
Strong organizational skills

PAY

$700.00
