Position Description

JOB TITLE: Director of Curriculum/Federal & State Grants

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for ensuring that the curriculum meets educational standards, coordinates training for teachers, and leads the development and implementation of curriculum. Management of State and Federal grant programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Master’s degree
State of Michigan School Administrator Certification
Strong background in K-12 Curriculum preferred
Experience/knowledge of State and Federal Grants preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of personal professional growth and development

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Demonstrated knowledge of K-12 curriculum
Knowledge and experience with Professional Learning Communities (PLC’s)
Experience with technology to analyze data and create data reports
Develop, refine, and implement curriculum, instructional materials, and assessments
Provide guidance and support to teachers and administrators on best practices, data driven decision making, and differentiated instruction
Design, coordinate, and deliver professional learning programs for all staff, including new teacher onboarding and in-service training
Coordinate with building leaders programming for summer programming, including credit recovery, K-5 jump start, kindergarten round-up
Analyze student data to identify instructional needs, evaluate program effectiveness, and make adjustments to improve student achievement
Ability to collaborate with principals, department chairs, instructional leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure curriculum alignment and effective implementation
Build a culture of continuous improvement and growth by monitoring program effectiveness and making data informed decisions

Oversee all aspects of grant management including proposal development, budget management, financial tracking, grant reporting, collaboration, training and support, and compliance
Proven ability to motivate staff
Other duties as assigned

TERMS: 215 Days

START DATE: August 4, 2025

REPORTS TO: Superintendent

SALARY: Per Master Contract

POSTING PERIOD: June 5, 2025 - June 25, 2025

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Ability to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position including but not limited to lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, crouching, reaching, handling.
