Reports to: Director of Early Childhood and Community Learning

Start Date: Immediate Opening

Rate of Pay: Starting at $16.77/hour (plus benefits)–Pay commensurate with experience

Schedule: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, 260 days per year

Qualifications:

● Strong word processing and data entry skills; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PowerSchool experience

● Must be proficient with Google as well as other technology platforms. Able to update and maintain the website and calendars

● Ability to manage multiple office responsibilities

● Excellent interpersonal skills

● Excellent oral and written communication skills

● Experience with budgeting and fund accounting

● Able to prioritize, self-directed

● Strong analytical skills, with high attention to detail

● High level of motivation, enthusiasm and organizational abilities

● Strong communication and public relations skills.

● Ability to assume responsibilities with minimum direct supervision.

● Ability to work in multi-task situations.

● Must be able to troubleshoot and assist with community stakeholder’s questions

Job Responsibilities:

· Handle all Community Education, Enrichment and Recreation calls

● Assist with registration for classes, enrollment processes, and register participants for Community Education programs, including preschool program, GSRP Preschool Program, enrichment, recreational sports, and early childhood programs.

● MCIR immunization reporting

● Manage Community Education, Enrichment and Recreation purchase orders

● Manage Accounts Receivables to approx. 30 revenue accounts

● Other accounting functions as requested by directors

● Bank deposits of all registration and tuition money collected

● Process all refunds for Community Education and preschool

● Reconcile checkbook monthly for refund account

● Billing for all programs including Preschool and Childcare tuition

● Payrolls for Community Education, Preschool, Auditorium, and Pool

● Coordinate payroll for summer programs

● Manage PowerSchool student information system for preschool students
