Rate of Pay: $89,853- $112,101 - pay commensurate with experience

Schedule: M-F, 8 hours/day, 5 days/week, 260 days/year

Qualifications:

● Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership or related field

● Minimum five (5) years teaching experience

● Michigan School Administrator Certificate

● Experience as a building administrator with Early Childhood experiences

● Experience with curriculum development/instructional leadership

● Experience with assessment and data analysis

● Demonstrated knowledge and/or expertise in Early Childhood Education

● Has Qualifications outlined by LARA and the State of Michigan for Early Childhood Program Director and School-Age Program Director

● TB tests required

Job Responsibilities:

● Provide leadership in the daily management of school functions including student discipline, staff evaluations, and supervision of activities and events.

● Collaborate with instructors and school staff to design and deliver creative arts enrichment opportunities.

● Plan and manage educational and recreational opportunities for youth and adults, ensuring diverse and accessible offerings year-round.

● Build and maintain strong relationships with families, community organizations, and district leadership to foster open communication and collaboration.

● Guide the creation and execution of curriculum plans, school improvement strategies, and program evaluations to ensure high-quality learning experiences.

● Supervise and support before/after school care, preschool, summer camps, and other youth and community initiatives to promote continuous learning and engagement.

● Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop innovative programs and events that align with district goals and enhance community involvement.

● Manage program operations including budgeting, payroll, purchasing, licensing compliance, and grant administration to ensure financial and regulatory integrity.

● Contribute to promotional efforts by supporting marketing campaigns and outreach strategies to increase awareness and participation in all programs.

● Maintain accurate program registration and participation records, develop instructor contracts, and ensure appropriate staffing levels across all offerings.
