Special Education Paraprofessionals

Up to 29hrs/week

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with classroom teacher and facilitate learning with students
Work with students who require special education support, including behavioral needs
Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with students, staff and families
Ability to work independently
Consistently maintain confidentiality
Excellent attention to detail
Willingness to attend to the personal care needs of students, while maintaining their dignity
CPI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) certified or able to be certified
Be a proper role model for students
Navigate and guide students with educational programs and applications
Willing to be flexible with daily schedule
