Qualifications:

· Strong in four core academic areas

· Must have experience working with school-aged children

· Discrete with communication and maintains confidentiality

· Ability to utilize technology and Google applications

· Capable of following directives of professional staff

· Dependable, punctual, with a positive work history

· High School diploma required, Associate degree preferred

· CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Training Required (training provided by the district)

Responsibilities & Duties:

· Assist students with daily tasks, under direct teacher supervision with implementation of students’ IEPs

· Assist students with toileting and health needs

· Student intervention support in four core academic areas

· Attendance is an essential function for this position

· Maintain student behavior through appropriate intervention and techniques

· All other responsibilities assigned by the Director of Special Education or Building Administrator
