Summary
Outlook Academy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Transition Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students as they navigate transitions within the educational system, including from one grade to another, from special education to mainstream education, or from school to post-secondary opportunities. This position requires a strong understanding of educational processes, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping students achieve their personal and academic goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s degree in education, vocational training, counseling, or related field required.

2. Satisfactory experience in secondary or vocational education and/or transition-related services3. Ability to meet and communicate with all stakeholders in a positive, professional manner.

4. Knowledge of and skill in working with outside agencies.

5. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
