The Opportunity:
As an Itinerant Learning Support Teacher, you’ll develop and deliver individualized instruction to students with a range of abilities, ensuring their academic, social, and emotional growth. You’ll work closely with families, general education teachers, and support staff to create a welcoming, effective learning environment where each student can thrive. This position is located at the Lebanon Intermediate and Harding Elementary Schools.

What You’ll Do:

Design and implement IEPs and educational programs tailored to each student’s needs
Inspire students through creative, adaptive instruction and hands-on learning activities
Collaborate with colleagues, families, and the community to support student achievement
Foster a positive classroom culture where all students feel safe, respected, and valued
Monitor progress, provide regular feedback, and adjust strategies to help students succeed
Use technology and data to enhance instruction and track growth
Participate in professional development, curriculum planning, and school activities

What You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree and valid Pennsylvania Special Education certification
Knowledge of current special education laws, best practices, and instructional strategies
Proficiency with IEPs, progress monitoring, and classroom technology
Strong communication skills—clear, compassionate, and collaborative
A growth mindset, a sense of humor, and a deep commitment to equity
Ability to move throughout the building and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
