Position: Temporary Technology Support Specialist

Duration: Approximately 3 months beginning on or about January 5th, 2026

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Temporary Technology Support Specialist to assist with Chromebook management and basic technology support at Discovery Middle School. This full-time temporary position provides essential technical support to ensure smooth operations for students and staff during the spring semester.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Chromebook assistance, including setup, troubleshooting, and repair coordination.
Support staff and students with basic technology issues related to hardware, software, and connectivity.
Assist with managing technology inventory and maintaining accurate asset records.
Collaborate with district technology staff to ensure consistent technical service and support.
Offer friendly, professional assistance to users in a school environment.

Qualifications:

Associate’s or technical degree in Information/Computer Technology or related field preferred.
Experience providing technical support or working with educational technology systems.
Familiarity with Chromebooks, Google Workspace for Education, and common classroom technology tools.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills with a service-minded approach.

Compensation: $25.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
