Alexandria Public Schools is seeking dependable individuals to join our team as substitute bus drivers for the 2025–2026 school year.

Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections, including checking fuel, oil, and fluid levels.
Clean the bus interior and windows, remove trash, and ensure safe and operational conditions.
Report any defects or mechanical concerns to the Director or Head Mechanic.
Wash the exterior and sanitize the interior of the bus as needed.
Safely transport students to and from school or designated locations while following all district and driving regulations.
Monitor and maintain student behavior in accordance with district policies.
Report any discipline issues to the Director and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Maintain accurate records, including mileage, fuel usage, and pre-trip inspection reports.
Attend required meetings, trainings, and workshops as scheduled.
