Please read before applying to be a Substitute

Thank you for applying to be a Substitute at Plainview ISD.

Here is what you need to know:

1. Application Review: We will review all applications but submitting one does not guarantee selection. We will contact you if you are selected to attend orientation.

2. Background Check: You must pass a fingerprint-based criminal history check, costing around $50. This fee is your responsibility.

3. Consistency Required: Substitutes must accept and fulfill jobs on a regular basis. If you cannot commit, please do not apply. If you do not meet the minimum monthly job requirement, you will be deactivated and unable to reapply for 12 months.
