The Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Board of Education is seeking an experienced and visionary leader to serve as the next superintendent. This individual will be responsible for guiding the district in its continued pursuit of excellence.

Candidates must meet the legal requirements to be licensed as a superintendent in North Carolina or otherwise be qualified and eligible to serve under State Board of Education policy. Central office and building-level experience is preferred. A doctorate degree or progress toward a doctorate degree is preferred but not required. In addition, the board desires that the selected candidate will live within the boundaries of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools attendance area.
