Part Time, possibly Full time Music-English Teacher Position at Raft River Jr/Sr High Schools in Malta, Idaho.

2025-2026 School Year

This school is looking for an enthusiastic music teacher. Musical background in voice and/or multiple instruments is preferred, ability to manage a classrooms and engage them in music education.
Candidates should have organizational skills, kindness and patience and firmness when working with children ages 5 - 18, composure under the pressure of multiple simultaneous tasks, outstanding public relations skills for communicating with students and parents, collaborative skills for working effectively with colleagues.

Current valid Idaho teaching credential with proper Music Endorsement is required.

Additional requirements:

Choral directing experience
Enough patience and firmness to effectively interact with children of multiple ages
Enough experience in musical performance to be comfortable and animated in front of groups of children
Competence in wind and string instruments that would enable teaching of recorder and baritone ukulele
Ability to teach a number of different percussion instruments.
