Pool Lifeguard

Under the general supervision of licensed staff, the Lifeguard position is responsible for the safety of all swimmers. This is a part-time position that works evenings and weekends for pool rentals as needed.

Criminal background check required for hire.
Current Lifeguarding certification required.
Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required.
Ensure swimmer safety by monitoring swimming pool and swimming activities
Prevent accidents by enforcing rules, scanning swimmers for distress and directing weak swimmers to remain in shallow water
Provide rescue and emergency first aid care when needed
Anticipate and recognize aquatic emergencies.
Perform light custodial duties including tidiness of pool deck and maintenance of general pool area to maintain safety for all persons and other duties as assigned.
Assist and support safety of all persons within pool area. Provide assistance for persons requiring additional information
