Contracted Physical Therapist (School-Based Services)

Woodbridge School District, a high-performing PreK–6 district located in Woodbridge, Connecticut, is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide school-based services for students with IEPs. This is a contracted, part-time opportunity designed for professionals who are passionate about supporting students’ physical development in an educational setting.

Position Details:

● Hours: 8–10 per week during the school year, with reduced hours available in the summer

● Compensation: Competitive hourly rate

● Location: Beecher Road School, on-site services required

Responsibilities:

● Deliver school-based physical therapy services in alignment with students’ IEP goals

● Conduct evaluations and write clear, actionable reports

● Collaborate with educators, service providers, and families in PPT and team meetings

● Ensure timely documentation that meets IDEA and district compliance standards

Qualifications:

● Valid Connecticut Physical Therapist license

● Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred

● Strong understanding of special education regulations and IEP processes

● Excellent communication and collaboration skills
